OMG. The concert was like the greatest night ever.
Ok, I went to see Crime in Stereo, The Code, Brain Failure, & Against All Authority. It was at the Common Grounds [a music bar] I went with Page, Sarah, Paige, Luke, & Trent. It was amazing. Ok well we got there and Crime in Stereo was playing. They were alright. Then THE CODE came on. They were AMAZING. We were right up in front against the stage. It was soo freaking loud, too. These crazy ass punks were skakin [type of weird ass dance] in circles. It was fucking crazy. People were spraying beer everywhere. After they played I went and got autographs. The one dude was wearing a box and was drunk out of his mind. When he signed it he would write a stupid message like '4 lyfe honkey?' or 'aint no party like a detroit party'. It was fuckin hillarious. Then when he would hand the paper he'd hand it to his friends he was talking to. Then we got the guitarists autograph. He just wrote ROGER in caps and put a heart. Not exactly an autograph, but heyy. & we got the lead singers.
Then Brain Failure came on. They were a Chinese band from Bejing. They were really good, though. They're pretty fuckin hardcore - and I thought it was really cool how they kinda broke the stereotype for Chinese people and stuff. I only got one of the dudes autographs though.
Thennn.. AGAINST ALL AUTHORITY! <333 They were soooo amazing. The lead singer reminded me of Michael Moore for some reason. Just the way he looked and acted. Which is awesome. Yeah.. well box boy, and lead singer from The Code were going crazy while AAA was playing. Box boy took off his box and stripped into his boxer breifs. Then he went up on stage and poured beer all over him. The lead singer had box boy write Fuck Yeah across the bottom of his stomach. They were like dueling in the back of the stage. Omg.. they were soo drunk. Well after AAA was done, I went and got their autographs, and then we talked to some of the people, then went and ate pizza in the middle of the parking lot.
Basically - it was one of the best nights everrr. I really need to go to more crazy ass shows like that... I'm all super into punk and ska now. I've kinda lost some of my old self... it's sad, but oh well. One shall get over it.
& last night I went to see Scary Movie 4 with Page, Sarah, and Paige. It was fun. The movie was pretty funny, but it was also really stupid at the same time.
Yeah uber long entry. OH WELL!
